Some years ago Eileen Brown made copious notes on life in training at Liverpool Royal Infirmary for an article that was subsequently published in the Liverpool Daily Post. This was only a fraction of what she had written. In the memories section Eileen has written a much longer account of four years at LRI from 1945- 1949. In the year 2000 Eileen was awarded the OBE for her work in Rumania (1991 – 1999).
