We had a wonderful afternoon at the Foresight Centre on 15th October. There were 90 members attended and we had the funniest and most entertaining presentation that I can certainly remember from our speaker Dame Lorna Muirhead . She is an utter delight and had a wealth of stories from her time starting in Liverpool as a midwife at the Maternity Hospital to the transition to her very varied and fulfilling role currently. She stayed for tea and chatted to everyone – what a terrific ambassador she is for the nursing profession.We were so lucky to have her agree to come and its thanks to Carolyn that she did. happy memories for us all with lots of positive feedback from those there.I have a few photos which I will post under reunions
