Reunion
The committee continues to discuss the future location of the reunion and feels that perhaps a breakdown of costs will inform the debate.Two years ago we agreed to make the Annual Reunion self-financing, but with increasing costs imposed by Liverpool University, this may lead to a further increase at some point.
The £20 cost to members includes the following:-
Hire of the chapel, hire of the main room upstairs, additional costs for extra rooms if required by individual PTS special reunions. Extra costs are also incurred for chairs ,above the 60 provided as standard, visual and audio equipment and finally for the tea ,sandwiches and cakes provided. Many of us enjoy the opportunity to revisit the hospital but it is only right that we consider other options. A considerable amount of the expense would be eradicated if we took lunch or afternoon tea at a hotel for example. We will be canvassing members opinion next year so this is just food for thought at this stage.Reunion Costs
