We are extending an invitation to all nurses who trained at the Royal to consider becoming a committee member.The work is not onerous, we meet three times a year at the Foresight Centre, in addition to the Annual reunion,from 10.30am til 2.30pm.
Some current Committee members have served long periods of time and are due to stand down so we need people to work alongside them for a smooth handover. Many of you may already be on charitable committees etc. but we urge you to consider volunteering here otherwise there is a real chance of the League failing. Maybe some of you who are at the beginning of your retirement can find a little time.
We haven’t had a single photo sent to us from members to post on the old or new website for many months yet when we show new material it is greeted with enthusiasm. Please try to contribute, dig into those momento boxes and send us material, engage with the new website- there have been two reunion requests posted recently which is super.
