A book entitled “Sisters – memories from the Courageous Nurses of World War 2” researched and written by RCN member Dr Barbara Mortimer has recently been published.
Over 150 previously unpublished interviews from the archives of the Royal College of Nursing have been used.
The book is currently available in hardback from many outlets and also as an ebook. It is due out in paperback at the end of March.
