Dr Paul Whittaker OBE

Paul is the Artistic Director and founder of the charity `Music and the Deaf`. Paul, who has been deaf from birth, has a music degree from Oxford University, a post graduate diploma from the Royal Northern College of Music and an Honorary Doctorate of Letters from the University of Huddersfield.

In 2007, he was awarded the OBE by the Queen for services to music.

Paul plays both the piano and the organ but also has a career in signing for musical performances including West End musicals and BBC Proms.
